The first thing you need to know about me is that I am highly driven to make a positive difference in the world through my coaching and all I do, so if you’re a change maker and share that passion you will find extra energy working with me.

Outside of work I enjoy tennis, rock climbing, designing and playing games and hanging out with my wife and daughter. In quiet times you will find me reading books about leadership and the boundaries of the human experience, or pursuing a mindful practice, like daily Yoga.

Professionally speaking, I come from an early background in marine science and a passion for the natural world, sea life and ecology. I started my career protecting and managing aquatic ecosystems, which is perhaps unusual for someone coming from the outskirts of London.

After years of dedication to the natural world and our relationship to it, I realized that my work (in consultancy, international development, research and academia) to prevent the ongoing damage to our planet felt too constrained… that I was not offering solutions to tackle the root cause. So I strived to find a more impactful way to protect our planet, by demonstrating new ways of living in harmony with nature. By pursuing my novel concept of chemical-free swimming pools, developing a new technology on the frontiers of science, I was able to creatively offer a way of living connected to the ecosystem right there in your backyard. That was the beginning of a 14 year long journey as an entrepreneur, a leader and a business owner.

That was stage one of my leadership journey. After a turbo charged challenge of huge ups and downs, when the business reached a point of sustained growth, I left it all behind and chose to leap into the next big project of my life. I have been inspired to work on an even larger scale to reach even more people and have a greater impact, empowering those that share this desire to create a better world, to lead with heart and confidence and build ventures for good and a clear message of change for our people and our planet. To make that happen I went through a extensive professional training in coaching with The Coactive Training Institute and became certified with the International Coaching Federation.

Today I mostly coach leaders and teams in purposeful companies that are leading the way in sustainability and the application of revolutionary science and technology. In Innovation, Science and Tech my clients are leading the way in redesigning our future and protecting the integrity of our biosphere. In the Creative Industries my clients are leading the way in digital innovation, communication and the way we live and relate with each other.

I have dedicated many rewarding years of my life now to personal discovery, pyschology and the art of coaching a deeper connection to oneself and others. I can help you understand and apply your purpose and vision, and build a high-engagement culture of trust, learning and high performance, all the while keeping an eye on your overall footprint in the much larger context of life. On my journey, I have been through burnout and many periods of self-doubt and knocks to my confidence while constantly pushing against the limits of my ambitious personality. This can make an intolerable mark on your health and wellbeing when left unchecked. Coaching is an invaluable partnership to maintain clarity, confidence and motivation. When you are clear, you can magnetize what you want to you, and have the impact you desire. This is essential when the pace of life is so intense.

So I bring a wide range of knowledge to the coaching relationship, over 800 hours of coaching experience across over 100 companies, as well as a playful, creative and energetic approach. This is combined with a depth of care, commitment and urgency, as we only live once, and what we do with it matters!
